Our Services ~ Pre-school & Primary

Objective

The objective of setting up the centre is to provide a conducive atmosphere and a complete training course for autistic children ranging from two to twelve years old. Upon specialized education and structured support for parents and children, the centre envisages they can be able to live their lives with as much independence as possible.

Classes

Preschool group : Preparing preschooler (aged 2-6) to go into
mainstream kindergarten, primary school or special class.
1-to-1 session: Monday to Wednesday (between 9:00am~5pm, please make arrangement with the centre)
Group class: Thursday and Friday (9.00am ~ 12.00pm or 1:30pm ~ 4:30pm)
Primary group : For children (aged 7-12) who are unable to attend mainstream
school or need extra support after school.
* Note: This class serves as a supplementary class, it does not meant to replace proper schooling.

Group class: Thursday and Friday (9.00am ~ 12.00pm or 1:30pm ~ 4:30pm)

Teaching method

  • Minimum 1 hour 1-to-1 session per week (parents can arrange for time more than 1 hour).
  • If the student performance is stable and suitable to study in group, the centre will arrange him/her to attend group class twice a week.
  • There will be maximum 6 students to 2 teachers in group class. Students will be grouped according to their age and ability.
  • Every month teacher will provide students progress report.
  • Assessment is carried out twice a year and an individual education plan will be done for every student.
  • Teacher will have meetings with individual parents to discuss about students progress and the education plan.

  • Group play

Other than that, we organize training for parents once in every month, teaching parents methods to educate children at home. The centre also occasionally organizes outdoor activities and family day.
